Does cardboard need to be flattened?
Yes. Flattened cardboard fits more material per bin and lift, which lowers collection cost and improves your rebate position.
Do you supply balers?
Yes. We supply, install and maintain mill-size and vertical balers free on loan for sites generating 1 tonne+ per week.
Can I earn rebates on cardboard?
Yes. Baled OCC (old corrugated cardboard) attracts market rebates — we pay back on tonnage at agreed rates with monthly statements.
What containers do you provide?
240L and 1100L bins, FEL containers, RoRos and roll-on roll-off compactors, matched to your packaging volume.
Is plastic-taped cardboard a problem?
Small amounts of tape and labels are acceptable, but heavy contamination, wax-coated boxes and polystyrene reduce the recycling value.
Where does my cardboard end up?
Baled OCC goes to UK and European paper mills to be repulped into new cardboard packaging — typically back in supply within six weeks.
