FAQs
Wood Recycling questions, answered.
The most common questions UK businesses ask about wood recycling. Need more detail? Talk to our team.
What types of wood do you recycle?
All grades A to D — clean pallets and packaging, construction timber, furniture, MDF, chipboard and treated wood.
Do I need to separate clean and treated wood?
Where space allows, yes — clean Grade A wood attracts the best recycling outcome. Otherwise we segregate at our facility.
Can you collect pallets?
Yes. Reusable pallets are returned into supply chains and broken pallets are processed for panel board or biomass.
What containers are available for wood?
Skips from 6 to 40 yards, RoRos for large sites, and FEL bins for smaller premises with regular wood waste.
What happens to recycled wood?
Clean wood is chipped for panel board manufacture (MDF, chipboard); treated wood goes to permitted biomass facilities for renewable energy.
Is wood recycling compliant with site waste plans?
Yes. We provide Site Waste Management Plan inputs, transfer notes and recovery data for construction reporting.
