What counts as hazardous waste?
Anything classed as hazardous under the List of Wastes — oils, solvents, paints, chemicals, batteries, asbestos, contaminated soils and clinical waste.
Do I need a consignment note?
Yes. Every hazardous waste movement in England requires a consignment note that must be retained for three years. We complete these on your behalf.
Can you classify unknown materials?
Yes. Our chemists carry out sampling and lab analysis to classify unknowns, assign EWC codes and recommend the right treatment route.
Do you handle asbestos?
Yes. Licensed and non-licensed asbestos is collected under HSE-compliant procedures with full chain-of-custody documentation.
What about emergency spills or one-offs?
We provide rapid response for spills, decommissioning and unplanned hazardous waste removals, usually attending within 24 hours.
How is hazardous waste treated?
